PHENOMONAL EXPERIENCE! I had dinner at ISHQ this past Tuesday with a group of 8 friends, and we were all absolutely blown away by the experience. For some of us, it was our first time trying Indian cuisine, and it far exceeded our expectations. The chef deserves praise for curating an incredible menu that draws from all parts of India. You feel and taste the modern take on tradition, elevated without compromising the authentic spices and soul of Indian food. From the presentation to the flavor profiles, everything was exceptional! The ambiance was elegant, welcoming, and perfect for sharing great food, cocktails, conversation, and experience with friends and family, even a date night. They even have a huge community table that can probably sit up to 20 or more guests. Highly recommend for anyone curious about Indian cuisine or looking for a beautifully crafted dining experience. We’ll definitely be back and will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Ishq chaandi hai, ishq sona hai - for my Bollywood loving friends - you'll get the reference! One word - spectacular! Made reservations, and if you have a well behaved child, they will let you in with your little one even if the Resy says no kids under 8. Just be considerate to other diners is their ask, which is more than fair. Chef Vamshi delivers another excellent menu after Gazab, with small plates packed with flavor and entrees with a decent balance. Small Plates: Jalebi Chaat (19) is a must have, just like Sharabi Chicken Tikka (23). Kadak Rumali (15) is passable, but their chili sour cream was tasty! Andhra Chili Gobi (17) for one might be too much, as the oil eventually gets to you - but an excellent choice if sharing the small plate. For non-paneer eaters, you cannot go wrong with Himachali Gucchi (23) - the the classic onion & tomato gravy goes surprisingly well with morel mushrooms! The Poussin Musallam (31) was on the less flavorful side, but the cornish hen looked really well cooked. Laccha Paratha (8) is a generous size, and one should be enough to be shared by two people, just like their tasty garlic Naan (7). Shout out to Sujit our friendly server who ensured a flawless and attentive service. Food arrived within 10-15 mins of ordering. With bollywood hits playing in a background, noise levels on the lower end, and fresh, modern interiors, Ishq was an absolute hit and a place that we'll definitely revisit with friends and family.

An unforgettable date night at Ishq! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the mood, especially the beautiful motifs on the walls and crockery. We started with expertly crafted infused cocktails Pehle Aap and Pink city. The Nizami Lamb Chops were so tender and flavorful they brought tears to my eyes. As for the Sharabi murg Tikka, watching the dramatic flambe at the table made it even more special. Even though we had no space left, we had to order the Dum Ka Gosht with garlic naan and tandoori roti, which was another masterpiece. A huge thank you to the incredible team, our wonderful server David, the manager Sourabh, and the extremely talented Chef Vamshi Adi, who personally came to greet us. Just when we thought the night couldn’t get better, they surprised us with their signature dessert, the divine Kala Jamun Tart, on the house. And the perfect finishing touch? A thoughtful postcard arriving with the check. Ishq is not just a restaurant it’s an experience. Already counting down to our next visit!

Went here for my birthday this year with a big group of 12 people and the food was sooo good!! everything we ordered was phenomenal in taste and presentation. I do think the service was a little slow and sometimes the wait staff bringing out the food weren't listening to the guest to where to put what and who ordered what. The drinks service was also very slow. Drinks were very Mid, but the food was incredible!

The best Indian food I think I’ve ever had!! To be honest, I was a bit skeptical at the beginning - the restaurant was empty when we came in on a Saturday, service was a bit slow to start, and they were out of the entree I wanted. But the food was so incredible that everything else can be overlooked. To drink, I couldn’t resist getting 2 cocktails: the Mumtaz Meri Jaan (vodka/citrus based) and the Dona Paula’s Kiss (think spicy margarita mixed with ginger...but not too spicy) - both were good! The food is outstanding. The Jalebi Chaat and Chili Gobi are musts: my friend and I both agreed that the gobi dish was our favorite of the evening. Perfectly crispy and so flavorful. They were sadly out of the Aloo Gobi Kofta that I wanted as my entree, so I opted for the Daal and the Palak Sabz (which was another favorite if the evening). The naan is also incredible - definitely try the chili cheese naan, very unique! I’ll be thinking about this meal for a while...

The best place for Indian food in New York City , the food is just breathtaking and the ambiance is just amazing. The staff is really good and friendly. 10/10. A must go place. Their cocktails are so good here. We ordered lobster curry, nalli gosht biryani, panner and jalebi chat and andra chilli. Everything was worth the money.
